Aberdeen City Council by-election date set

The Aberdeen City Council by-election for the vacant seat in the Torry/Ferryhill ward will be held on Thursday 21 November 2019.

The vacancy has arisen following the resignation of Councillor Catriona Mackenzie.

The Notice of Election will be published on Monday 14 October 2019. Nomination papers can be delivered from the day after publication of the Notice of Election until Monday 21 October on weekdays between 10am and 4pm.

Aberdeen City Council comprises 45 council seats across 13 wards. Torry/Ferryhill is represented by four elected members, with Councillor Yvonne Allan, Councillor Christian Allard and Councillor Alan Donnelly continuing to serve.
