Events funding opportunity for community groups to end soon

Aberdeen City Council is inviting groups and volunteer organisations to apply for up to £1000 towards community-based events. Applications should be received by 9 April.

Successful applications will form the fringe programme of activities at Silver City Stories which will take place from Monday 26 – Friday 30 June ahead of the main weekend programme.

Applications for visual, sound, dramatic, musical and performance arts are all encouraged. The work should link in some way to the theme of the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology.

The application deadline for the Community Events Fund is Sunday 9 April and guidelines and application forms can be downloaded from www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/creativefunding.
