Aberdeen pauses to remember

Aberdeen has marked Remembrance Sunday with a series of ceremonies and commemorations throughout the city.

In the city centre, the Lord Provost of Aberdeen Barney Crockett led the civic procession as city representatives, serving forces, reserves, veterans and cadets joined members of the public at the War Memorial on Schoolhill.

A ceremony incorporating the 11am silence and wreath laying was held, followed by a church service at the Kirk of St Nicholas Uniting.
