Gardening enthusiasts are invited to join volunteers from the Royal Horticulture Society of Aberdeen at the Duthie Park for a series of workshops throughout 2017.
Aimed at amateur or beginner gardeners the workshops will have a variety of different themes with guest speakers, seasonal gardening tips and practical sessions where green-fingered participants can create their own floral masterpiece.
The free workshops will be held on Sundays (1.30-3.30pm) throughout the year, starting with Gardening for Wildlife on 19 February with Mark Paterson, Curator from the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens.
Other workshops include; sowing and planting flower seeds, herb gardening, planting vegetable plots and summer pruning for fruit trees and shrubs.
